More information
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) documents how the Greater Kansas City area will prioritize the limited transportation resources available to meet the needs of the region. The TIP contains priority surface transportation projects that are proposed to receive federal, state and local funding within the metro area, and will be carried out in the next five years. The TIP is developed by MARC in cooperation with the Kansas and Missouri Departments of Transportation, local governments and public transportation agencies.
To find out more information about a project, contact the project sponsor, which is listed in the Results panel when you click on a project for details. For general questions about the TIP or the map, e-mail tip@marc.org.
