The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) explains how the Greater Kansas City area prioritizes surface transportation projects that are proposed to receive federal, state and local funding within the metro area, and will be carried out in the next five years. This map application displays all projects in the 2008–2012 TIP that can be mapped.
To view details about a project, select the Identify 
tool from the toolbar and click on the project on the map. Information will appear in the Results panel. You can also view details by searching for a project in the PDF document, which is located in the upper right corner on the map.
